Ordering for Continuous Duty
These pumps are bought for availability. Four order-stage decisions determine how easy the installation is to live with.
- Driver side. Facing the outlet, the driver rotates counter-clockwise on the left side and clockwise on the right. Specify which suits the plant layout — changing it later is not trivial.
- Replacement fit. If the pump replaces an existing unit, send the baseplate and flange details with the enquiry. The split-case arrangement often allows a direct replacement with pipework unchanged, but only if the dimensions are checked first.
- Material against the water treatment. Cast iron suits most supply and cooling duty; treated or aggressive water may need SS304, SS316 or SS316L.
- Sealing water. Below 0.3 MPa(G) inlet pressure the sealing water pipe component is not required at all — worth confirming before designing it into the plant.

Send the flow and head, the medium and its temperature, the water chemistry, the driver side required, and — if replacing an existing pump — the baseplate and flange details. We will confirm the model and whether a direct replacement is possible.
