Buying vertical sump pumps — these go into pits that already exist, so the order stands or falls on dimensional fit. Get the column length wrong and the pump cannot be installed at all, whatever its duty point.
- Column length L in 0 / 300 / 600 / 900 / 1200 mm steps
- Outlet 40–300 mm across frame types PC, QV, RV, SV, TV
- SSP all-metal and SSPR rubber share the same installation envelope
- No shaft seal and no gland water in the standard build
- Extended L builds add a guide bearing needing flushing water
- Full dimensional data published for pre-order fit checking

Checking Fit Before You Order
A sump pump order fails for dimensional reasons far more often than for hydraulic ones. Five checks settle it.
- Column length. Measure plate-to-floor and plate-to-working-level. Compare against the D column and the L extension steps.
- Mounting footprint. Check E, F, G, H against the existing plate and φn against the existing bolt holes.
- Discharge flange. Check φD1, φD2, φD0 and the bolt pattern against the existing pipework.
- Weight. Confirm the lifting arrangement and plate loading.
- Flushing water. The standard build needs none. Extended-shaft L builds add a guide bearing that does — allow for it at design stage, not after installation.
All dimensional data is published on the sump pump pages so that fit can be checked before an enquiry is raised rather than after delivery.

Supply, Certification and Inspection
We manufacture rather than trade — casting, machining, assembly and testing all happen in our own plants. That is what makes the technical answers on these pages possible in the first place.

| Annual casting output | 18,000 tonnes |
| Payment terms | T/T, L/C and O/A |
| Packing | Fumigation-free wooden cases |
| Manufacturing | Four production bases and ten subsidiaries; casting, machining, assembly and testing in house |
| Foundry capacity | Six medium-frequency induction furnaces and two normalising furnaces |
| Engineering team | 85 core R&D and technical staff, averaging 15 years in the industry |

What to Send With Your Enquiry
Send the plate-to-floor and plate-to-liquid-level dimensions, the existing discharge flange details, the duty point and what actually reaches the pit floor. We will confirm the size, frame type, column length and wet-end build, and issue the certified dimension drawing with the order.

Why is column length the first question?
Because the pit already exists. The floor level, mounting plate and discharge line are fixed, so a pump that cannot reach the floor or will not clear the plate is unusable whatever its duty point.
Do we need a flushing water supply?
Only for extended-shaft L builds, which add a guide bearing. The standard build has no shaft seal and needs no water at all.
Can we change between metal and rubber later?
Yes. SSP and SSPR share the installation envelope, so the wet-end build can change without altering the pit arrangement.
What is your minimum order quantity?
One set. Wear parts can be added to the same order and ship in the same consignment.
What is the lead time?
Standard models held in stock despatch in 7–10 days. Other models are delivered within 30 days, depending on quantity, wet-end material and model.
What payment terms do you accept?
T/T, L/C and O/A, agreed against order size and the commercial relationship.
Do you hold CE and EAC certification?
Yes — ISO 9001:2015 covering quality, environment and occupational health, an energy management system certificate, CE under the MD and EMC directives, and EAC 004 and EAC 010 for the Eurasian Economic Union.
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. Four production bases and ten subsidiaries, with casting, machining, assembly and testing in house, and annual casting output of 18,000 tonnes.
How are pumps packed for export?
In fumigation-free wooden cases, which avoids the treatment and documentation that solid-wood packing requires in most destinations.
Do you accept third-party inspection?
Yes. Arrange the inspection body with the order and we will schedule the works test accordingly.
