Slurry Pumps and Wear Parts, by Category
If you came here to find a pump for a site, start with the category that matches your duty — the slurry, the flow, and the head do more to narrow it down than a model number. Each category page lists the models, the duties they cover, and the wear parts that go with them. If you are sourcing to resell or specify into your own equipment, the distributor route is a better fit.

Horizontal Slurry Pump
The workhorse arrangement for abrasive duty: the SAH, SHH, SZP, SMC and SAZP series, with SAH sizes from 1.5/1 up to 20/18. Wet ends are specified in high-chrome iron, replaceable rubber or ceramic according to particle shape and pH, and four shaft-sealing options cover sites with and without seal water. Start here for tailings, mill discharge and general process slurry.

Vertical Slurry Pump
Cantilever pumps that hang into the sump, carrying a semi-open impeller with an agitator vane below it. There is no submerged bearing and no shaft seal on the standard build, so they run where suction is poor and seal water is unavailable. Concentrations of 60 to 70 percent are handled. SSPR adds rubber lining for angular, mildly corrosive slag slurry.

Gravel Sand Pump
SG and SGH frames for coarse solids that would choke a conventional slurry pump. Passing particle size runs from 82 millimetres on the smallest frame to 254 millimetres on the largest, through a single-casing wide passage in hard nickel or high chrome. Discharge can be indexed through a full circle, and drive options run from V-belt to variable frequency.

Dredge Pump
WN frames built for river, lake and harbour work: desilting, channel maintenance, reclamation and sand winning. Fourteen sizes cover 600 to 25,000 litres per second at 20 to 85 metres, with suction branches to 1,200 millimetres and spoil passage to 354 millimetres. The hydraulic end is arranged for marine service and continuous running away from shore support.

Froth Pump
Flotation froth carries entrained air that will stall an ordinary impeller. These builds use an open froth impeller, a flared throatbush and a modified cover plate, and are sized on the froth volume factor rather than on liquid flow alone. The duty point is held left of best efficiency with NPSH kept low, which is what keeps the pump primed on frothy feed.

FGD Slurry Pump
Absorber circulation is abrasive and acidic at the same time, so material choice follows the pH you actually see rather than the design figure. STL covers the horizontal build and STLL the vertical, with branches from 25 to 900 millimetres. High-chrome cast iron is standard; A49 is selected for service at pH 4 and above.

Double Suction Pump
SOM frames for clean and near-clean water rather than slurry. Twin-sided impeller entry balances axial thrust, which is what allows 74 to 23,500 cubic metres per hour without punishing the bearings. The axially split casing lets the rotating element lift out without breaking pipework. Casings are cast iron or stainless steel in SS304, SS316 or SS316L.

Submersible Pump
Three ranges sit under one word, and they are not interchangeable. SZBQ handles abrasive mining slurry, SP(B)Q runs unattended in sand-laden water, and the submersible sewage pump passes fibrous municipal sewage. Choosing on the word submersible alone is the most common route to the wrong pump on site, so this page sets out what actually separates them.

Slurry Pump Spare Parts
Wear is never even, so every wetted component is available on its own: impellers, volute liners, throatbushes, frame and cover plate liners, expeller rings, shaft sleeves, glands and packing. Materials run from high chrome through ceramic and polyurethane to natural and synthetic rubber. Parts can be matched from your sample or drawing, with OEM work supported.
Dimensionally interchangeable replacement pumps and wet parts that fit existing installations and existing spares holdings, so a plant can change supplier without changing pipework or stores records. Built on our own SAH, SHH and SSP(R) series. Interchangeability refers to fit and replaceability only; we are an independent manufacturer, unaffiliated with any third-party pump brand.
